Mykonos- Kastro

In 1996 I lived in the building on the left for 5 months overlooking Portoportiani Church in Mykonos. The view was outstanding and this summer was one not to be forgotten.  Everyday there seemed to be another painter or artist creating their renditions on this most popular church on the island. Every night this area becomes the gay cruising scene on the Island. I had about 18 roommates this summer and was basically subletting the rooms. This summer (and the 2 following Mykonian summers) have become a huge influence on my latest script, “Cigarettes, Ouzo & Dynamite”. I took this with a 24mm 2.8 Nikon lens with 100 asa E-6 Kodak film.
