Balloons on the Playa

Another Dali-esque photograph captured with my Rolleiflex. The Playa (the ancient sea bed that us Burners celebrate on) is a magical place. And if you are ever so lucky to participate in The Burn you will soon love the the Playa dust that will cover your entire body and all that you bring in and out of desert. The Man actually burns tonight, so I post this photograph now. These balloons were floating for only a day, then disappeared, like many objects out there. Enjoy. © Victor Spinelli.
